Going to Peru

Well the initial discussions for this trip started off at Thanksgiving last year and it kind of blossomed from there. The main target of this trip is hiking on the Inca Trail and going to Machu Picchu. It might be a bit of an odd assortment of people but here's the rundown (in no particular order):

First and most importantly, me!

Secondly, there is my younger sister Roxanna. We've traveled together a fair bit growing up, but most notably going together to Egypt in 2009.

Third and fourth are my parents, Ken and Darcia. They are currently in South America in Chile visiting one of their former students that boarded with them. Like Rox, we've traveled a bunch together, the last time with Mom was to Turkey when Tryzub (my Ukrainian dance group) was there last July.

Fifth is Mike. We traveled together to the Yukon and Northwest Territories and Alaska in 2010.

Sixth is Nathan, another Tryzub dancer. On top of numerous dance trips and tours together, we traveled around Turkey together last year after the dance portion of that trip was done.

Seventh is Tyson, Nathan's younger brother. He was with Nathan and I on our first dance trip to Queretaro, Mexico in 2007.

Finally, there is Dave, also known as Housewarming Dave or HD (long story). We haven't traveled together yet.

We have some scattered departures: Mom and Dad are in Santiago Chile, are traveling back to Peru and will meet up with us on Monday for our flight to Arequipa. Mike and I are flying down on Saturday from Calgary. Dave lives in Vancouver and is also flying on Saturday so Mike and I will meet him there. Nathan, Tyson, and Rox are flying down on Sunday.
