Well we made it… Mike and I left from Calgary this morning and the flights went pretty well.
3hr 45min flight to Houston, quick 2hr stop there, 6hr flight to Lima, 2hrs waiting for Housewarming Dave’s flight. We hopped in a towncar/sedan and (where the first song we heard was Bryan Adam’s Summer of ‘69) and took the half hour trip headed to the Centro Historico to the Kamana Hotel. The ride was kind of sketchy, and it looks like a very industrial city and not someplace I’d like to walk around after dark. But we made it, and new adventures await.
